These Payment Terms and Conditions govern all transactions made through Shuddhi NGO's platform and are designed in accordance with applicable laws in India and international standards for nonprofit operations.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept donations via the following secure payment methods:

  • Credit and Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, RuPay, Discover – depending on issuing country)

  • Unified Payments Interface (UPI)

  • E-Wallets

  • Internet Banking

  • Direct Bank Deposits

  • Cheque

2. Security of Transactions

All payment information is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption technology (SSL). Shuddhi is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of donor data and follows best practices to ensure a secure donation experience.

We do not store sensitive payment information like full credit card numbers or CVVs.

3. Alternative Payment Options

If you are unable to donate using the methods listed above, we recommend contacting the specific campaign organizer directly. You can reach them via the contact option provided on the campaign page to explore alternate offline donation options, such as cash or cheque (where legally permissible).

4. Disbursement of Funds

Donations are first collected by Shuddhi and then disbursed to the designated beneficiaries (NGOs or causes) based on donor advisements and compliance review. All funds are disbursed to registered bank accounts after deducting:

  • Payment Gateway Charges

  • Social Impact and Operations Fee (to support Shuddhi’s administrative and charitable work)

The remaining is disbursed to the intended beneficiary or is used by Shuddhi for its ongoin social and environmental projects, subject to legal and regulatory checks.

5. Compliance with Laws

All transactions are governed by the applicable laws of India, including Income Tax Act, and Information Technology Act. etc.

6. Receipts and Recordkeeping

Donors will receive digital receipts by email after a successful transaction. These receipts may be used for personal accounting and tax deduction purposes, subject to the local laws.

7. Fraud and Misuse Prevention

In the event of suspected fraud or misuse, Shuddhi reserves the right to suspend transactions, request verification documents, and report to the appropriate legal authorities.
